JAMES E. FITZGERALD, Chairman
Jim Fitzgerald has been a lawyer for over 40 years, is licensed by the California and New York Bar Associations and has litigated cases around the country during his career. During his practice years, Jim was a trial lawyer and litigation partner in large international and national law firms with an emphasis in commercial/business litigation, professional liability and complex insurance/reinsurance issues. In 2021, Jim left the everyday practice of law and transitioned into providing services as a certified mediator and arbitrator with his own firm – Fitzgerald Legal Consult, P.C. Jim also provides pro bono services as a mediator for the Federal District Court’s Mediation Program in the Central District of California, as well as for the Los Angels County Superior Court Mediation Program. Jim is also the co-author of the Rutter Group’s Practice Guide for Federal Civil Procedure Before Trial and regularly presents webinars and programs on trial practice and procedure for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and The Rutter Group.
Jim has been involved in the St. Cyril community since 2001 when the first of his three children started at St. Cyril, where they all graduated in 2011, 2015 and 2018. Jim has also been the co-coach for the St. Cyril Mock Trial Program since 2008 and over the years has been on various committees at the School to assist the School Administration.
MICHELLE ESTRELLADO (Vasquez), Secretary
Michelle Estrellado is the Executive Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships at Pacific School of Religion and a dedicated trustee of the Foundation for Saint Cyril of Jerusalem School. With 16 years of experience in higher education, she has held leadership roles in student affairs, marketing, and admissions, including serving as Dean of Student Affairs at The Art Institute of California – Hollywood. Her expertise in building community partnerships and fostering engagement has been a cornerstone of her career.
A Northern California native, Michelle earned her BA in English with an emphasis in American Studies from UCLA and an MS in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University. Since her son began kindergarten at St. Cyril in 2010, she has been an active member of the school community, contributing through volunteerism and school programs. As a trustee of the Foundation, she leverages her professional experience to support its mission, ensuring the school's continued growth and success.
TONY PASTOORS, Treasurer
Tony Pastoors is the Vice-President of football and business administration for the Los Angeles Rams. In 2010, after graduating from Dartmouth College where he had a successful football career under the legendary Coach Buddy Teevens, Tony joined the L.A. Rams. Tony works directly with L.A. Rams team president Kevin Demoff on all aspects of Rams operations, and partners with General Manager Les Snead and Head Coach Sean McVay in the development and implementation of the club's strategic plans for player signings and player acquisitions. As the club's chief negotiator, Tony oversees the team's salary cap management, contract negotiations, compliance with the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement as well as the club's financial and strategic planning, and serves as a liaison to the club's business operations including marketing, partnerships, finance, ticketing, community relations, administration, and communications. Tony also serves as part of the Rams' executive leadership team and represents the club at the NFL league level, attending NFL league meetings on behalf of the organization.
Tony was also heavily involved in delivering on L.A. Rams owner Stan Kroenke's vision for Hollywood Park, the 298-acre sports and entertainment district in Inglewood that features SoFi Stadium and the campus that includes the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater, an office complex that is the home of the NFL's West Coast headquarters, and the retail district that is under development.
Tony was honored in The Athletic's "NFL 40 Under 40" list in 2021 and 2022.
Tony was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He and his wife, Emily, live in Sherman Oaks and have two young daughters – Charli and Kiley - who both attend St. Cyril.

FABIOLA CARRENO, Director
Mrs. Fabiola Carreno is the Director of Human Resources for a global HR solutions company based in Los Angeles, CA. She holds dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Spanish from the University of Southern California and brings extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, employee relations, and organizational development. With a strong background in fostering workplace culture, optimizing talent management, and implementing effective HR strategies, she has been instrumental in driving organizational success.
A proud product of Catholic education, Mrs. Carreno attended Catholic schools in Los Angeles from preschool through high school, making it a natural choice for her to enroll her own children in a local Catholic elementary school. Her deep-rooted commitment to Catholic education has inspired her to give back to the school community in meaningful ways.
From 2022 to 2024, she served as a board member of the St. Cyril of Jerusalem School Parent Association, where she focused on enhancing the student learning experience and supporting faculty professional development. Her leadership helped foster a stronger school community and enriched educational opportunities for students and teachers alike.
Mrs. Carreno is honored to join the Board of the Foundation of St. Cyril of Jerusalem School and is eager to contribute to the foundation’s mission. She looks forward to supporting innovative programs that will benefit students, faculty, and the broader school community.
KEITH CASEY, Director
Keith Casey has a diverse background, starting his career in the aerospace industry at Hughes Aircraft Company, where he managed U.S. Navy contracts and a test laboratory. He later transitioned to business ownership, overseeing multiple franchise operations at The UPS Stores. In this role, he handled day-to-day store activities and managed financial, marketing, and human resource aspects of the business. Currently, Keith is involved in projects that benefit children, individuals with disabilities, and older adults.
Keith has a passion for Catholic education and lifelong learning. He is an alumnus of St. Cyril of Jerusalem School, Notre Dame High School, and Santa Clara University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. His family has a strong connection to St. Cyril of Jerusalem School, with seven siblings and his daughter, Christina attending the school.
Keith is dedicated to ensuring the continued success of St. Cyril of Jerusalem School by promoting academic excellence, supporting teacher education, providing tuition assistance, and fostering Catholic values for future generations. He is optimistic about the school’s future and is proud to serve on The Foundation for St. Cyril School Board.
EVA COHEN, Director
Eva Cohen has been teaching at St. Cyril since 2012. She is part of the administrative leadership team and is the Jr. High Chair. Eva teaches Pre-Algebra and Algebra as well as all the history classes in our Jr. High. She is a forward-looking teacher who has piloted and executed a successful VR/AR program at St. Cyril, and has integrated VR/AR into her history curriculum. She has developed project-based gaming learning using Minecraft Edu and Minecraft Education. She is committed to a hands-on learning approach that engages her students in problem solving and critical thinking. Eva earned a Bachelor of Art degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1993, a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, with an emphasis on school design, received her Preliminary Teaching Credential from California State University, Los Angeles in 2011 and cleared her teaching credential at Mt. Saint Mary's University in 2015.
Eva spent nearly 10 years practicing as a licensed architect in Washington, DC before moving to California with her family in 2004. By combining her architecture and education background, Eva stimulates her student’s curiosity, teaches collaboration and promotes self-discovery in her classroom. She is thrilled to be on the board of the Foundation for St. Cyril School as she has personally benefited from the Foundation’s generosity in helping her develop technology in her classroom.
JONATHAN O'BRIEN, Director
Jonathan O'Brien has been a First Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Sherman Oaks since 2012. He has worked in the financial services sector since 1996, focusing specifically on Wealth Management and Goals Based Financial Planning since 2001. Jonathan has gained invaluable experience throughout his time in the financial services sector, helping his clients navigate multiple bull and bear markets and keeping them on track to accomplish their retirement lifestyle goals.
Jonathan is alumnus of Saint Cyril of Jerusalem, Notre Dame high school and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University. He has been on the board of The Foundation for St Cyril School for many years, and has participated in fundraising activities for the Susan G Komen for the Cure Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, The Medal of Honor Foundation, and the Men’s Guild for Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Jonathan lives in Woodland Hills with his wife Jennifer and their four children. He really enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing and coaching basketball, skiing and working on home improvement projects around their house.
