Faculty Professional development

The Foundation for St. Cyril of Jerusalem School plays a vital role in supporting the professional development of our faculty and staff by funding opportunities that enhance their teaching expertise and instructional strategies. Through the Foundation’s support, our educators have attended three CUE Conferences, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National NSTA Conference, and most recently, the Get Your Teach On Conference in Las Vegas.

These conferences are invaluable in keeping our teachers up to date on the latest teaching practices, exposing them to innovative programs, and equipping them with cutting-edge tools that can be immediately implemented in the classroom. This ongoing professional development not only fosters the personal and professional growth of our teachers but also enriches the educational experience of every student.

Get Your Teach On Conference

Teachers from our school recently attended the Get Your Teach On Conference, an inspiring educational experience designed to ignite passion and innovation in the classroom. This one-of-a-kind event provided them with the latest research-based strategies and best practices for creating engaging, rigorous, and dynamic lessons.

With sessions led by Team Get Your Teach On, our teachers learned creative techniques aligned with Common Core Standards, empowering them to enhance academic rigor and inspire a love of learning in their students. They returned motivated and equipped to transform ordinary content into extraordinary experiences, impacting how students feel about education and shaping their futures as lifelong learners.
